I am Vithana Arachchige Dayakeerthi the Proprietor and Managing Director of Summit Lanka (Pvt) Ltd. Since establishing this company in 1989 I was involved in Manpower Recruitment up to date. In addition to this trade I am also engaged in various businesses under this company. Such as building, property developer, importer, sellers, technical school and Ticketing Agent & Travellers. As a businessman, I have more than Twenty Three years' experience in this field. I am a Lion Member of district lions club 306 C. For the last 23 years I have held numerous posts as a lion in the District Lion Club. I have participated in various programs conducted all over the country. I was involved in arranging health clinics, distributing spectacles, organizing blood donation campaigns and helping the less fortunate to construct their homes by providing material and also through financial assistance. For all the social services rendered to the society, I have been awarded many certificates of merit and appreciations. I am also an all island justice of peace. From 15, November 2000 I was appointed as a Director in the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment for a period of Two years. Given all these experience I have gained over the past year, I have total confidence in running this organization with the help of my competent staff. Operation Manager Message
As a manager, I work between the managing director and the staffs. This can be a very challenging job to full fill at times; making sure daily tasks are being done in a timely manner in order to satisfy the job seekers to go overseas for Their job needs. Our staff has great experience in fulfillig that task. For example; to send an employee to another country, we have to undergo so much planning and organizing to get his documents and everything ready, within certain deadline. Starting from police reports preliminary approval & final approval, medical reports, government training, approvals from foreign affairs approvals for foreign embassy to Air ticket bookings; we take full responsible. This is definitely not a small task. However, our staffs is proficient and very competent in this field that we never fail to everything done accordingly and confidently send our job seekers on their way to fulfill their own dreams , taking up jobs abroad . All these steps that are involved in this process have to go through me and I personally look in to very detail to ensure everything runs smoothly with my staff. In the meantime, I also correspond with our clients based in other countries as well. Bottom line; whoever come to our offices, seeking employment; we never turn them around.
